Cabin on a Northern Michigan lake in Antrim County
These original red oak floors were overlaid with plywood which remained for decades. When the plywood was removed many nail holes and stains were uncovered. After a few boards were replaced these floors were sanded and trowel filled. After final sanding and water popping the floors were stained with a custom blend of Medium brown and natural, sealed, then finished with Berger-Seidle Greenstar ultramat.

This home has a unique combination of beech floors in the living room and bed rooms, and yellow pine floors in the kitchen and dining rooms. These floors cleaned up nicely, and are now protected by an ultra-matte finish from Loba that features a natural structure and feel like untreated wooden flooring.
Home in Forest Lakes, East Bay Township
These were well worn factory-finished red oak floors. After removing the aluminum oxide finish with the Bona Powerdrive with diamond sanding plates, the floors were sanded with ceramic abrasives to prepare them for 3 coats of finish. This floor was sealed with Loba EasyPrime and coated with Loba 2k Duo extra-matte.
